Asteroid 2025 TF flies ~428 km above Antarctica: The second-closest recorded near-Earth flyby.

A tiny asteroid called 2025 TF passed just ~420 km (~260 miles) above Antarctica on October 1st. This was even closer than many satellites, and wasn’t detected until after it passed, showing just how blind current space surveillance is to small objects (comforting). Wikipedia

Weird drug side effect emerges: Some patients on weight-loss drugs report bizarre sensory distortions and phantom sensations.

Some users of GLP-1 medications like Ozempic have reported sensory abnormalities such as allodynia, a condition where ordinarily harmless stimuli (like clothing brushing against skin, or a breeze) trigger painful, burning, tingling, or hypersensitive sensations. New York Post

Additionally, there are anecdotal reports and emerging journal discussion of mood and perceptual changes people are calling “Ozempic personality”. Patients describe emotional numbness, irritability, detachment, or blunting of joyful emotions (anhedonia).
